Depending on the size of your group, we offer different learning formats. Large groups can be divided into rotating stations, allowing everyone to participate in smaller, focused activities.

Group Activities

Introduction to Working with Horses

Learning how to safely approach and handle horses is a key component of this experience. Visitors will be guided through the best practices for working around horses to ensure their safety as well as the well-being of the animals.

While working with the horses, visitors will learn the steps involved in grooming, along with the reasons why grooming is an essential aspect of horse care. This emphasizes both the techniques used and the benefits of regular grooming for the horses.

Experience for Senior Citizens

Senior citizens are encouraged to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air while participating in this unique experience. The session invites attendees to share personal stories about horses from their past, fostering a sense of community and connection. For those who are new to working with horses, the program offers an opportunity to learn new skills and gain valuable knowledge.

School Groups 

Whether you are a group of six or sixty, engaging this interactive tour of the farm introduces individuals to the fundamentals of animal care and stewardship. Participating in activities at a horse farm, especially for children, helps build confidence and a sense of responsibility. Working with and caring for horses encourages the development of important life skills.Our   dedicated volunteers are committed to ensuring that every group receives a personalized and memorable experience.

We Travel

Depending on your facility and request, we offer the convenience of bringing our ponies to you.  We have visited nursing homes, private homes of individuals who are homebound and even helped Santa hand out candy from our Monticello Fire Station! Whether for special occasions or routine visits, our team is dedicated to making these experiences accessible for everyone and strive to create memorable moments for individuals and groups within our community.
