Hamilton "Hami"
Hami came to the Rock in early 2026 and found his permanent home after being seized by White County Animal Control and treated by the White County Animal Wellness Center.
Hami needed time to heal and gain weight and muscle while showing how much he enjoyed being handled and especially groomed. He has shown affection and an interest in being a horse again after being severely starved and neglected. We currently use Hami for all programs with light work.

Hami loves peppermints, alfalfa cubes and all treats.

He is very curious and loves to touch everything and has shown no fear.

Due to possible halter abuse, he has light scarring on his face.

He prefers humans over his herd mates but gets along with all legged creatures.

Hami is "gaited" which means his unique gaits by moving each leg independently are smoother and more comfortable for riders opposed to the bounce of a non-gaited horse.
